Traditional Lebanese Zaffe

France (Lyon, 69)

Performers & Circus Artists

The "Zaffe" or "Zaffa" is an essential tradition of Lebanese weddings, but also present in others countries and middle-eastern cultures (Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Turkey, Armenia, or Kurdistan). It refers to the folk troupe of musicians and dancers which accompany and precede the entry of the newlyweds in order to create an unforgettable opening of the wedding, and give the tone of a festive event.

In traditional or elegant folk outfits, the Zaffé is a real show, which can be combined with different animations:
- Traditional folk musicians (Derbouka, Drums, Horns, Bendir ...)
- Dabkeh dancers and masbaha pearls necklace turners
- Saber dancers
- Oriental dancers

Our troupe of Zaffé can be composed of 4 to 12 artists (men and women)
Do not hesitate to contact us to know the different configuration possibilities.
